Belarus'Lukashenko Pays Homage to Cuban National Hero

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 25.- Byelorussian president Alexander Lukashenko laid a floral wreath at the monument of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, located in Revolution Square, Havana city.

Cuba’s Foreign Deputy Minister Dagoberto Rodríguez accompanied Lukashenko and his delegation in the ceremony, and later they toured the Jose Marti Memorial.

The Byelorussian president arrived in Cuba on Sunday in an official visit, and will meet his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro this afternoon, before his departure for Venezuela, where he will meet President Hugo Chavez. (ACN)
