New Book by Carilda Oliver Presented in Cuba and Spain

Matanzas, Cuba, Jun 30.- "Todos los dias (acta lirica)", new poetic anthology by Carilda Oliver, was presented in this city by Antonio Piedra, director of the Jorge Guillen Foundation of Spain.

The text, divided into three parts, which will be launched in Spain next week, includes lyric, erotic and epic poems by Carilda, winner of the island’s National Literature Prize, and it’s a tribute paid to the Cuban poet by the Spanish foundation, on the occasion of her 90th birthday.

This is the third book by the author of “Al Sur de mi Garganta” published by the Jorge Guillen Foundation. The first two were “Se me ha perdido un hombre” and “Desaparece el polvo,” all of them very successful with a wide cross section of readers.

Born on July 6, 1922, Carilda, the host of the Special Gathering at the Palacio de Junco museum said she was very happy, and thanked the close friend for his gesture, not for the presentation of the text per se, but for the message of love, peace and spirituality expressed in his words. (ACN).
