Provincial Electoral Commission Completed in Camagüey Province



Camagüey, July 9.- The Provincial Electoral Commission was set up during a ceremony held at the Ignacio Agramonte Square on Monday once its members ratified their oath.

In his capacity as chairman of the Provincial Electoral Commission,  Ever Evaristo Ávalo Piñeda read the oath upon which they will conduct the electoral process in the upcoming months. Likewise, the members of this commission committed to fulfil the tasks and do their part as the Electoral Law indicates.  

Aside from Ávalo Piñeda, other electoral officials in Camagüey are deputy chairwoman Aliuska Liset Mesa Rodríguez and Secretary Luel García Lorenzo, plus other 12 members.

Luis Ynchausti Rodríguez, who a deputy to the Cuban Parliament and president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in the province, acknowledged the virtues of the electoral system in the island, and urged to carry out a fair and transparent process.

First Secretary of the Communist Party in Camagüey Julio Cesar García and deputy chairwoman of the National Electoral Commission Rosa Charró Ruiz also attended the ceremony. (Daymaris Taboada Moreno / Radio Cadena Agramonte).
