Romney Loses Ground to Obama, Poll Says

Washington, Aug 11.- Although virtual Republican candidate Mitt Romney has raised more money than U.S. President Barack Obama in recent months, his approval rating has shown itself to be inversely proportional to his monetary donations.

A recent survey stated that the former Massachusetts governor is losing ground against the president, who is seeking a second term in the November elections.

If elections were held today, the president would gain 49 percent of the vote against 40 percent for Romney, according to a Fox News poll.

This is notable, because a month ago, the same pollster found that the president had just a four-point lead over his rival, 45 to 41 percent.

Evidently, Romney's campaign is not going well, after a barrage of critical ads from the democrats, the blunders committed during his recent tour of the United Kingdom, Israel and Poland, as well as charges against him for tax evasion. (Prensa Latina).
