"Sparkle" the Last Film of Whitney Huston
Los Angeles, Aug 17.- U.S. movie theaters premiere today "Sparkle", the last film of Whitney Huston, 1963-2012, who was also known as The Voice.
The film directed by Salim Akil is a remake of the film with the same name made in 1976, which tell the true story of the Supremes, a women band that succeed back in the 60s.
Houston , who die here in February this year at the age of 48 years old, plays Emma, the mother of three women, who seek to be succesful in the music world.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this version of "Saprkle" is even better than the original one.
"This film was supposed to be Houston's return to the movies, and, instead, will be reminded as her last work".
Meanwhile, the Grammy museum inaugurated the exhibition Whitney: Celebrating the Musical Legacy of Whitney Houston, which will be opened until February 2013 and has a collection of some of her possessions. (Prensa Latina).
