Cuban Writer Happy for Succes in Bolivia



La Paz, Aug 18.- Cuban writer Froilan Gonzalez describes as very successful his visit to Cochabamba city, where he launched a book on Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, and a documentary on Che Guevara's guerrillas in Bolivia.

Gonzalez, who arrived here last week, presented the documentary El Rescate in the Politics School of the Universidad de San Simon, where he was favorable received, according to dtatments to Prensa Latina.

Some 200 people watched the film, which bring together statements of members of revolutionary commando in charge of getting out of Bolivia five of the survivors of Commander Che Guevara's guerrillas, at the end of 1967.

The event was attended by some of those who participate in this action, who exchanged anecdotes with the public that included the vice-rector of the Cochabamba's university.

Gonzalez, an expert in Che Guevara's life, was also one of the speakers at the La Paz' Book Fair, where he presented "Creciente Agonia", a book on Jose Mart's family life. (Prensa Latina)
