Cuban Veterinarians Offer Services in Haiti

Port-au- Prince, Aug 21.-A dozen Cuban veterinarians have begun work in Haiti, as part of a collaborative project that envisions the incorporation of another 13 veterinary specialists as part of the project.

The Cuban specialists, with more than 20 years of work experience, will serve in 10 Haitian departments for two years.

They will also have the task of supervising the development of Haitian colleagues who graduated in Cuba between 2006 and 2009, according to press reports.

Cuba is carrying out a number of different cooperation projects in Haiti, especially in the area of Public Health. (Prensa Latina)
