By Yurislenia Pardo Ortega/ Radio Cadena Agramonte. yurislenia@rcagramonte.icrt.cu
In the long struggle for the release of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unjustly imprisoned in the United States, the youth in the Cuban province of Camagüey plays a leading role.
A proof of that are the actions taken by the young people in this province as part of a solidarity campaign which is being held worldwide since September 5.
In this sense, young students and workers have been building awareness within the community on the current situation of this case, and are multiplying the voices of those who claim here and abroad their freedom and return to their homeland.
The Solidarity Committees of the Provincial Controller's Office and of the Ignacio Agramonte International Airport are some of the workplaces where the campaign has been more intense.
Likewise, a get-together will be held on Friday evening at the head office of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) in this city in a bid to continue providing arguments to prove the innocence of Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González, Gerardo Hernández and René González We are talking about a battle that grows stronger everyday, and is supported by all Cubans of good will and thousands of friends of Cuba.
