Hugo Chavez in Cuba

Havana, April 10.- Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez early Friday morning at the Jose Marti International Airport.

Chavez told the press before traveling to Havana that the objecive of his visit is to prepare alongside Fidel and Raul the upcoming ALBA Summit to begin on the 16th in Caracas.

Accompanying the Venezuelan Head of State were Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro, Energy and Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez and other government officials.(Taken from RHC)
