Radio Cadena Agramonte Commemorates its 52th Anniversary
Camagüey, Jun 9.- For 52 years, the provincial radio station Radio Cadena Agramonte, has been in the heart of the local audience, a fact that was proved Tuesday with the recognition to those people, veterans and new-comers, whose works have been praiseworthy.
Gathered in a humble ceremony that took place in front of the radio station venue, the attendees listened to words of congratulation and encouragement by Communist Party ideological official Rafael Cruz, who expressed the instructive, educational and counseling character of this medium.
The Artist of Merit Certificate, an award that the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television grants to its artists was conferred this time to directors Raúl Romero Morales and Francisco Canela Ciurana, writer Luis David Díaz Cuervo and presenter Brenda Graciela Vilató.
Likewise, founders of this radio station like Benito Gil Lacal, José Luis Cadenas, Filogenio Sánchez and Isidro Ramírez were also acknowledged in this 52th anniversary of Radio Cadena Agramonte.
