Cuba, Ukraine for Mutual Potentialities
Havana, Cuba, Mar 14.- Cuban acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcelino Medina and Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin expressed their wish to use the existing potentialities to develop ties, diplomatic sources states on Wednesday.
During a meeting in Havana, Medina highlighted the excellent bilateral relations and the will to strengthen them, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs www.cubaminrex.cu reported on Wednesday.
As part of the inter-ministerial meeting, Klimkin talked with his Cuban peer Dagoberto Rodriguez on agricultural, energy and health spheres.
Cuba and Ukraine celebrated the 20th anniversary of bilateral ties on Monday, with the issue of a stamp with a photo of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, with children affected by the Chernobil nuclear disasters in 1986. (Prensa Latina).
