Washington, Feb 18.- The US organization Consorcio Cuba today holds here its first public conference, a forum that seeks to facilitate the normalization of relations between Havana and Washington.
Havana, Cuba, Oct 1.- Governmental delegations of Cuba and the United States held technical talks in this capital on services of civil aviation, with a view to establishing regular flights between the two nations.
Havana, Cuba, Sep 9.- The first meeting of the Cuba-U.S.A Bilateral Commission will be held in this capital on Friday, September 11, the creation of which was announced by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez, and the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, during the visit of the latter to Havana on August 14, the Foreign Ministry informed.
Havana, Cuba, Sep 9.- Members of the chairmanship of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) met with directors of the University of Havana (UH) to establish guidelines for cooperation between the two institutions.
Washington.- The United States has exempted dozens of foreign companies and individuals appearing on its sanctions list for having economic and financial relations with Cuba.
Hanoi, Aug 25.- Deputy Foreign Minister, Nguyen Quoc Dung, described today as very positive the restoration of Cuba-US relations, whose most recent chapter was the reopening of the embassy in Havana.
Santiago, Chile, Aug 24.- Miguel Barnet, multifaceted figure of Cuban culture and winner of many international awards, analyzed positively the restoration of his country's relations with the United States.
Fort Worth, Aug 19.- American Airlines and Cuba Travel Services plan to operate the first charter flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Jose Marti International Airport (HAV) in Havana later this year, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday.
Washington, Aug 19.- The U.S. administration is working with Havana to sign an accord before the year's end, allowing U.S. tourists to travel to Cuba on commercial flights, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Havana, Aug 15.- Cuba and the United States entered a new stage of bilateral rapprochement, after completing formalities of resuming diplomatic relations with the reopening of embassies in both capitals.
