Havana, Mar 20.- Cuban President Raul Castro met with Louis Michel, European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, and Miguel Angel Martinez, vicepresident of the European Parliament.
They analyzed the positive course of the recent resumption of bilateral cooperation between the European Commission and Cuba, Granma newspaper reports Friday.
They discussed relations between this island and the European Union (EU), based on non interference in internal affairs, and respect of State sovereignty.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca, and the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee International Relations department chief Jorge Marti Martinez, as well as European Charge d'Affaires to Havana Javier Nino attended the meeting.
