Camagüey, Mar 23.- Cuba developed an engine that automatically switches on and off multiple and high-tech TV broadcast.
Experts in Camaguey, east Cuba, developed and fitted the engine to the broadcast chain helping improve reliability by commuting for better quality signal if there is a glitch.
So it helps keep services in the region regardless of the weather conditions, say local Radiocuba specialists.
Cuba now readies to extend nation wide the innovation in use in Camaguey since the late 2006 that helps enhance the life of equipments.
Luis Riveron, director of Radiocuba in Camaguey, says it helps introduce scientific innovation in services and is hard currency and fuel saving.
The devise has helped automate the switch on/off system at the TV and medium wave broadcast stations.
It has also helped install data transmission systems to monitor and operate transmitters and generators and create an energy-saving technology via intelligent control of the bearer. (Prensa Latina)
