Iran Will Never Succumb to Aggressions, Says Supreme Leader
Tehran, Oct 13.- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that his country is not seeking to invade any other, but would never permit foreign attacks or any other act of aggression. Khamenei's remarks came during his visit to a military base in the country's Jorasan northern province, in which he stressed that Iran is following Islamic principles and its armed forces are the nation's source of security and protection against the aggressive purposes of its enemies.
The supreme leader said that what moves the hegemonic powers to make the war is the selling of weapons and the development of the military industry which depends on capitalists.
Iranian authorities called the US and its Western European allies ¿hegemonic powers or arrogant countries.¿
Khamenei said that the preparation of the country's armed forces is the only thing that dispels any "thoughts of invasion" by the enemies of Iran.(Prensa Latina)
