Havana, Feb 28.- A workshop dedicated to updating the treatment and diagnosis of dermatological diseases has begun here today with specialists from Cuba and Spain, among the most representative ones.
Organized by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health and the International Society of Dermatology, the workshop covers several issues, including skin cancer, tropical diseases, autoimmune diseases and scarring.
It will also discuss nanotechnology applied to this specialty, medical education, dermo-cosmetics and dermatology in black skin.
With venue at the â€˜Hermanos Ameijeiras' Hospital, the International Workshop on Dermatology, La Habana 2017, which runs until March 1st, is also organized by the Spanish Society of Dermatology and Venerology and its Cuban counterpart. (PL)
