Matanzas, July 19.- A session of debates on agricultural production and its real potentialities, will be the antecedent of the 10th Workshop on Science, Technology and Innovation, known in Cuba as CITAtenas-2017, from October 24 to 27, said here the organizers Tuesday.
Previous to the event, there will also be courses, such as 'Steps for Documents: An Indispensable Tool for Empresariat' and 'Foundation for Projects Elaboration' said experts from the Cuban Ministry for Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), besides nine thematic axes in disposal during the sessions.
The forum will discuss on social innovation, technological basis, food sustainable production, working labor, organization in services, public health, networks, and others.
The event will be organized and presided by the CITMA delegation of Matanzas, a Cuban western province, with the support of prestigious academic institutions, and local enterprises.
The event will be sponsored by foreign institutions such as : Virtual Technology Transfer Observatory of the University of Alicante (Spain), Luciano Feijao Faculty (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and the Ceara Technological Innovation Nucleus Net (Brazil).
Cuban projects GEF-PNUD Sabana Camagüey; Biomás-Cuba; Agroenergía, and others, will be represented in the event.
CitAtenas was created in 2007, and it has constituted a space of great importance for the scientific community. (Prensa Latina)
