Camaguey, Dec 7. - A luxury, sample of the main aesthetic budgets of classical ballet, offered last night the Ballet of Camaguey (BC) and the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC), in the main theater of this city.
The first dancer Sadaise Arencibia and Raúl Abreu, both of the BNC, interpreted the pas de deux of the second act of the lake of the swans, one of the most famous in the history of ballet, considered summary of the technique, the style and the expressive modes in the classical dance, according to its own synopsis.
In the roles of Odette and Prince Siegfried, with choreography by Alicia Alonso, the protagonists were the most sincere applause from its entry on the scene, and Sadiase gave samples of their artistic domain until such time as before they were closed the curtains, without cease even the applause of the public in Camagüey.
"Suite Generis", "Waltz", "In Your Eyes" and "Fantasy" were the parts that in emotional spiritual and corporal delivery chose the dancers locals for this presentation, which brought to an end the work Oddi-Oche, an approach to the Orishas from the Yoruba pantheon with the seal of the Folkloric Ballet of Camagüey and choreography of its director, the teacher Reynaldo Echemendía Estrada.
Other presentations with the participation of the prestigious partner of the BNC will take place this evening and tomorrow, also in the main theater, to continue to celebrate half a century of the first classical ballet company founded by the Cuban Revolution.
