Mexico, Jan 3.- Poor air quality continues to be recurrent today in the Valley of Mexico, particularly in three Mexican municipalities.
The Atmospheric Monitoring System reported that Ecatepec is the most polluted with 109 points of suspended particles, according to the Metropolitan Index of Air Quality (IMECA).
It is followed by Tultitlán and Tepotzotlán, also in the State of Mexico, with 103 points.
When the air quality is bad, it is recommended to the population, especially children, older adults, people with intense physical activity or with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, to limit the prolonged efforts outdoors.
2017 was the year with the least days of breathable quality air since 2014 in the Valley of Mexico, which also includes the Mexican capital. (Prensa Latina)
