Gaza, Feb 19.- Israeli aircraft bombed several towns within the Gaza Strip without reporting victims of the attack up to now.
Local sources assured that Israeli Air Force aircraft made 10 sorties in the early hours of today in areas surrounding the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, and according to an army spokesman, the attack was made in response to the firing of a rocket from Gaza into an area of the regional council of Sha'ar Hanegev, in southern Israel, on Sunday night, which caused no injuries or material damage.
According to the spokesman, the warplanes attacked an 'underground infrastructure in Gaza', without adding details of the action.
Early on Sunday, the Israeli army revealed that it had attacked 18 targets of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, the second action of that type in Israel in less than 24 hours.
For its part, Hamas blamed Tel Aviv for the escalation of violence in the region.
His spokesman, Fawzi Barhoum, said that 'the Israeli occupation is fully responsible for the consequences of its continued escalation against our people.'
The day before, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) described as a new war crime the murder of two young men from Gaza by Israeli soldiers.
Finally, the PCHR reiterated its call to the international community to act immediately to stop Israeli crimes. (Prensa Latina)
