Nicolás Maduro ratifies the health as right of the people

Caracas, Jul 19. - The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed today that the health is a fundamental right of the human being dignified by the socialistic revolutions of Latin America.

Across his account in Twitter, he emphasized the importance that supposes destining resources for the formation of the people for the sake of consolidating a better future, as well as the cooperation projects with nations you join to strengthen areas as the community and social health.

“Only in the socialistic revolutions of Our America we think about the solidarity, think about the education and the health like a fundamental right of the human being”, wrote the chief.

Also, he evoked the creation of the Latin-American School of Medicine (ELAM), institution founded for the formation of doctors qualified in primary health care of health, who offer services in Latin America and Africa, for the sake of encouraging a new vision of the medicine faced to the people.

The institution, which has adjusted thousands of community doctors, is a vital space of union of the nations and governments compromised with the development of integral physicians with high levels of scientific, ethical, technical and humanist education, as well as with deep social vocation.

The same way, the Head of state congratulated 13 medical young people of Sierra Leone that graduated in the South American country by means of the International Program of Scholarships of the Foundation Big Marshall of Ayacucho.

He remembered that the program, presidency for the Department of University Education, Science and Technology of Venezuela, has formed more than 400 African young people, who at present are in his respective countries to improve the quality of life of the population.

Venezuela, immediately after a cooperation agreement with Cuba, created the National Program of Formation in Community Integral Medicine, initiated in 2005, project that summons for students proceeding from different nations of Latin America and the Caribbean Sea, Africa and Asia, to excelling itself and serving to his nations.
