Contemporary Ballet of Camaguey proposes premieres to its public



Camagüey, Aug 16. - The Contemporary Ballet of Camaguey will offer two premieres at the Avellaneda theatre, this Thursday and Friday, with directorate-general of Yaylín Ortiz Clavería.


Beyond the sea and Havana Club are new parts that will perform the prestigious company, the second of them with musical accompaniment live local grouping Musicora from 8:30 in the evening.

Inspired on the Italian island of Sardinia, in folklore, the Mediterranean spirit of its inhabitants and the freedom of expression of the sea, the choreographer Pedro Ruiz created Beyond sea, piece with music by Elena Leda.

For its part, the dance company work Club Havana, also Ruiz, closer to the rhythms and dances of the Decade of the 50 of the last century in Cuba, time of mambos and chachacha, where in addition to the performance of the dancers we enjoy Musicora, in a tribute to the vast national culture.

The Camagüey´s citizens will be also privileged with the replacement of Portraits in your eyes, in a program concert which will be then displayed in Havana's Mella theater, from the 24th to the 26th of this month.

With 15 years of founded, the Contemporary Ballet - before responding to the name of Endedans - defends its Camagüey´s roots from a sexy dance company proposal that has led them to represent the largest of the Antilles in different national and international scenarios.
