Raúl Castro and Díaz Canel congratulate the RPDC on its 70th anniversary



Pyongyang, Sep 11 . - In an excellent atmosphere, the first Cuban Deputy President, Salvador Valdés Mesa, exchanged with the North Korean authorities about the excellent state of bilateral relations and  common issues on the international agenda, and sent cordial congratulations from the Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, first Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), and Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic Democratic of Korea (RPDC).

Valdés Mesa, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the PCC, participated in the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the RPDC and met a broad agenda that included meetings with Kim Jong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political  Bureau  of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, and Cheo Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, deputy president of the Workers' Party of Korea and deputy president of the State Committee of the RPDC.

He also exchanged with Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau  of the  Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, deputy president and head of  Department of International Relations.
