Havana, Sep 12. -Carlos Fernández de Cossío, director for the United States at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, said via its official Twitter account that the article published on NBC where Russia is accused as a suspect in the appearing incidents against American diplomats in Havana " lends itself to being a foul play".
The Cuban official denounced the media manipulation and the strong interest in "insinuating plots of third countries in Cuba without evidence or grounds, quoting sources without names and inventing intrigues".
The evidence "is not sufficiently conclusive" and "nobody is to blame", the State Department said quickly. But the truth is that there appears to be no truce, but a direct intention to continue affecting the bilateral relations among the two countries, and even with third parties.
"In Cuba any diplomat is attacked , from any country, by any country", reiterated the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the island. (Granma)
