Havana, Sep 22. -During last night, a strong tropical wave in the Atlantic East of the Lesser Antilles Arc continued to gain in organization and became the tropical depression number 11 of the current hurricane season.
At 11pm the central region of the tropical depression was located in the 13.1 degrees north latitude and the 53.4 degrees West longitude, about 690 kilometers east northeast of Barbados, arc of the Lesser Antilles.
The tropical depression has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts, a central pressure of 1007 hectoPascal and it moves west northwest at about 9 kilometers per hour.
It forecasts that in the next 12 to 24 hours this tropical depression will move in a direction next to the West Northwest, with little change in its travel speed and it will have little change in the organization and intensity to gradually weaken and dissipate as it approaches to the Lesser Antilles.
