Camagüey, Oct 22. -The office of the historian of the city of Camagüey (OHCC) summoned the new edition of the prize Alarife Público Fulgencio Arambula, for people and institutions that stand out for their contribution to the safeguard and protection of the historic center of this city, registered in The World Heritage List.
This award recognizes every year natural and legal persons, who from architectural and urban projects, or theoretical-practical bodies that allow to establish actions on scientific bases, or methods to propitiate the development and consolidation of the economic, political and cultural management and protect the values of the heart of this city.
According to the call, it may be submitted in writing, either personally or through third parties, proposals that reflect the trajectory and relevant results of the applicants, with the possibility of annexing evidence of their performance.
The proposals will be received by the OHCC with headquarters in Carmen street number 7, between Martí and San Ramón, in the capital of the city until the January 10th, 2019. The results will be announced during the celebrations for the 505 years of the once Villa Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, today Camagüey.
