Cuban VP received a delegation from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea



Havana, May 23.- Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received on Wednesday comrade Ri Su Yong, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (PTC) and member of the State Committee of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), as well as the party and government delegation that accompanies him on his working visit to Cuba.

At the meeting, which took place in a fraternal atmosphere corresponding to the high level of bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest were discussed, and both sides reaffirmed their willingness to continue deepening the historical relations between the two peoples, parties and governments.  They also exchanged views on other issues on the international agenda.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the WPK, Ryu Myong Son, Deputy Foreign Minister Pak Myong Guk, and DPRK Ambassador to Havana, Ma Chol Su.

Also in attendance were Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Party, and Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. (ACN)
