Camagüey, sept.12 – The new generations represent 70% of the workforce of the Santa María Camaguey Provincial Company for City Tourism, one of the local institutions present at today's rally to support government measures in view of the current energy situation.
In a meeting gathering workers from various institutions, general opinion had that in order to keep going down the socialist path,Cuba counts on economic advantages and the people’s support of the measures proposed by the President in order to deal with the fuel shortage deriving from stepped up U.S. hostility against the nation.
Notably, Miguel Díaz- Canel Bermúdez expressed his trust in young initiative and enthusiasm on national TV Round Table program.
In consequence, Lilian Díaz Montero, UJC's Organizing Committee Secretary for the Santa María company, said that we live in a time when strong morals and unity are a must, without ever neglecting support to the sister nation of Venezuela, that just like Cuba and Nicaragua, suffers the impact of Trump’s policies.
Furthermore, Gustavo Meneses Pérez, a barman at La Bigornia, said that the leading role of youth has been demonstrated along history, and this time will be no different.
As said by Anet Mesa Fernández, lawyer and legal adviser, this is an opportunity to condemn blockade; while Yulieisy Cruz Páez, worker at the Café Ciudad, stated that we will be able to overcome it all.
