Camagüey, Oct. 19 - For the second stage of the 59th National Baseball Champ, the local team will have five players to reinforce their roster and, temporarily, four replacement players that make up the Cuba team to the Premier 12 tournament.
At the Santa Cecilia Convention Center, in this city, the selection of reinforcements was carried out last night, in a program broadcasted by Tele Rebelde channel and the main sports press media.
Local coach Miguel Borroto requested the services of pitchers Frank Luis Medina (Pinar del Río), Yoen Socarrás (Santi Spíritus) and Yadián Martínez (Mayabeque).
In addition, the box player Yorbis Borroto (Ciego de Ávila) and gardener Jorge Luis Peña (Holguín).
Camagüey also replaced players enrolled in the Premier 12 with box player Michael González (Mayabeque); and pitchers Isbel Hernández and Yoandy Cruz, and player Yusmel Velázquez.
