Camagüey, Nov. 6 - Cuba has received in the last 27 years the majority support of the international community in its claim for the total elimination of the blockade imposed by the United States government on the Island; a policy that constitutes a massive, flagrant and systematic violation of human rights.
This November 6 and 7 at the United Nations General Assembly will discuss and vote once again the report presented by Cuba every year with an analysis of damages caused by the blockade, which is already over 60 years old.
Several labor groups in the city of Camagüey remain attentive to what is happening in these days, convinced of the international support for the Cuban Revolution before that and other US maneuvers that seek to reverse Socialism, affect citizens and deprive them of the right to a full life.
The people of Camagüey have suffered for six decades the consequences of the blockade; but let the Yankee government know that no one surrenders here, because we have learned to grow before the restrictions imposed on us and we have a thorough understanding of the vile nature of their supposed "help to Cuba and Cubans."
