Camaguey, Nov. 11.- Created by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, in order to find the best varieties of grass and apply the most efficient techniques, this November 11, the Research Institute on Sugar cane reaches its 55th anniversary.
Currently, 45 research projects are being developed in the country, ranging from soil preparation to harvest, and work is carried out directly in 130 production units, including some in Camagüey.
During a tour of the province, Sergio Guillén Sosa, general director of the mentioned entity, referred to that task and defined some keys to improve results.
