Beijing, Dec. 13- China closed the third quarter of 2019 with 10.97 million new jobs and approached its annual goal of creating 11 million, the Ministry of Human Resources confirmed on Thursday.
Statistics from that office state that jobs were mostly established in urban areas and this was made possible thanks to the economic stability and the adoption of policies related to the subject.
The Ministry also pointed out that the country is registering this achievement in a context marked by internal and external challenges such as a talents deficit and the modest performance of foreign trade.
However, the unemployment rate between January and September was 3.61%, or 0.21 points less than in the same period of 2018.
To solve the lack of qualified personnel, experts quoted by China Daily newspaper call on companies to be more flexible and eliminate problems such as discrimination against women. (Prensa Latina)
