Camagüey, March 9.- The local Book Fair closed with a congratulation in the form of poetry for International Women's Day, this Sunday.
Yunielkis Naranjo Guerra, director of the Provincial Center of Book and Literature, thanked all the people involved in the development of the 29th edition of the cultural event, to maintain a tradition that goes beyond the effort of four days, in which made available to readers more than 350 titles of various genres.
After the performance of soloist Liudmila Pardillo, writer Ignacio Ramonet received a photograph by José Aurelio Paz, José Martí Journalism Prize, and a painting authored by the local artist Ileana Sánchez Hing.
To end the afternoon, the musician Elain Morales and his group offered a concert dedicated to all women, who enjoyed a nice tribute to Juan Formell and other songs from his repertoire.
The Book Fair in Camagüey says goodbye with the satisfaction of having extended its proposals to various areas of the city, including educational centers, as usual here, and with a theoretical luxury program, at the height of the Cradle of Cuban Literature.
