Camagüey, March 14.- The entourage of this province has so far filed a gold medal, two silver and the same amount of bronze in the National Para-Athletics Championship, which is based on the Rafael Fortún Chacón stadium track, in this city.
The golden medal was obtained by the member of the National Association of the Deaf of Cuba (ANSOC) Emmanuel Padrón in the 1,500-meter-flat race, in which he recorded time of four minutes and 57 seconds, folowed by José Álvarez, who won a silver medal, just one second behind the winner.
The other silver medal was won by the runner of the Cuban Association of Limited Physics - Motors (ACLIFIM) Osdelvis Pérez, in the 1,500-meter event, in which he set a time of four minutes and 39 seconds, while the bronze medals of Camagüey won by Yeinier Gamboa and Roberto Martínez.
Representative of ANSOC, Gamboa, and ACLIFIM Roberto Martínez, finished third in the 100-meter dash race, in their respective categories.
