Camagüey, Mar 28.- The head of coaches of the Cuban boxing team Rolando Acebal , declared to the press that, after the Olympics were postponed for next year, the Cuban team could face changes.
Before the postponement of the Pan American Boxing tournament, which was scheduled to take place in Argentina, and which would grant tickets for the upcoming summer event, Cuba announced its squad of eight fighters, which included four boxers from Camagüey.
At that time the local fighters who managed to be included in the national team were Damián Arce, from the 52 kilos division; Yoenli Feliciano Hernández, of the 75; Julio César La Cruz, of the 91, and Dainier Peró , of the division of more than 91 kilograms.
Taking into account his statements, the four boxers from Camaguey will try to maintain their excellent form to achieve their permanence in the national team.
