Havana, Apr 7.- The urban music group Negrons is the protagonist today of the concerts promoted by the Cuban Institute of Music (ICM) to support social isolation measures aimed at preventing the spread of Covid-19.
The performance will be broadcast by the Clave tv channel, the Radio Progreso station and the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Culture, as well as links to a hundred pages on Facebook.
Winner of the 2019 Cubadisco award in the urban music category with the album Binary, Negrons, thus joins the initiative to broadcast concerts online started a couple of weeks ago to bring culture to the homes of the island and avoid concentrations that promote the spread of the new coronavirus.
The urban music concert is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. local time, and according to ICM programming, it will be followed by that of Pancho Amat and his Cabildo del Son tomorrow, the Karamba group on April 9 and on the 10th it corresponds the turn to saxophonist Michel Herrera and his group.
