Camagüey, May 13 .- Attention to the most vulnerable people in the current situation occupied the debates of the most recent meeting of the Provincial Defense Council in Camaguey.
In assessing the specific situation of people who have serious health limitations, the party leader pointed out that there are weaknesses in the prompt solution of some of the cases.
The engineer Elvis Pérez Olivera, a member of the food group, explained that, to ensure the preparation and planting of agricultural products, systematic control and exchanges are carried out with producers, paying special attention to short-cycle products and also to the breeding of native animals to increase the sale of protein to the population.
The meeting also reported on the progress of the current sugar harvest and, in particular, the actions undertaken to achieve higher sugar levels, as well as the necessary sugarcane recovery to ensure future harvests.
