Cubans stand out in Japanese Professional Baseball League



Havana, Jul 11.- The Cuban duo Raidel Martínez-Dayán Viciedo showed effectiveness in their respective functions and was key in the closed 3-for-2 victory of the Chunichi Dragons against the Hiroshima Tents, in the Japanese Professional Baseball League (NPB). 

At the Nagoya Dome, reliever from Pinar del Río Martínez achieved his first victory of the season after throwing a perfect inning and reducing his effectiveness to 1.00, while Villarrealno Viciedo, one of the Cubans who works in the Japanese league without a contract sponsored by the National Federation, hit decisive home run in the tenth inning, its seventh of the tournament.
