Covid-19 in Cuba: figures are still favorable



Havana, Jul 16.- With the good news that at the end of Wednesday, no patients in critical condition were reported, the Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda, updated the evening meeting of the task force for the prevention and control of Covid-19, headed by President Díaz- Canel , and the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Havana deputy governor, Yanet Hernández Pérez, when updating the epidemiological situation in the province, which continues to go through phase one, assured that the five health indicators established by the Ministry of Health are being met.

With the study of 2,239 PCR samples on Tuesday, she said, the search for cases persists in all the municipalities of the province, which will allow us to continue expanding the study areas and cut paths for transmission.
