Havana, Jul 16 - The Chamber of Commerce of Cuba (CCC) and its Spanish counterpart on Wednesday addressed in a virtual meeting the strengthening of joint works, in order to promote their bilateral trade.
On Twitter, the CCC considered the exchange as fruitful, in which the 2030 Development Agenda was analyzed, which includes prioritized sectors and Cuba´s increased exports and Spain´s investments.
Cuba and Spain agreed on May to promote Cuba's exports to Spain as a primary action for this year.
In this regard, Antonio Carricarte, CCC president, met with the head of the Association of Spanish Entrepreneurs, Xulio Fontecha, who also advocated the export linking with domestic outputs.
Spain is Cuba's important trading partner and is usually the state with the highest representation at the Havana International Fair, which in its last edition (November 2019) was attended by more than 110 companies. (Prensa Latina)
