Havana, Jul 29.- President Díaz-Canel, meets today with the members of the Henry Reeve Brigades who returned from Turin, in Italy and from the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
A message issued this morning on Twitter by the Ministry of Public Health, MINSAP, explains that at the meeting the president and members of the brigades exchange experiences lived during the time that the island's specialists supported the fight against Covid-19 in those countries.
“President @DiazCanelB meets with members of the #HenryReeve Brigades who returned from #Turin and #SanVicenteylasGranadinas, to share their experiences during the time they supported #COVID19 in those countries. #CubaPorLaVida ”, says the message, accompanied by a photo of the appointment.
The Henry Reeve Brigade that left Cuba for Turin returned to the Island on July 20, after three months of uninterrupted work in that region of Italy, where they were recognized by the authorities and locals.
For their part, the Cuban medical personnel who attended to fight the pandemic in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, returned in the middle of this month, after Vincentian President Ralph Gonsalves personally dismissed them as a sign of appreciation.
