Tales from the palace, by La Andariega, at the Avellaneda Theater

Camagüey, Aug 8.- The Avellaneda Theater will receive on stage this weekend the dance theater company La Andariega, with the rerun of the musical comedy Cuentos de Palacio, the oldest work in its repertoire.

Inspired by fables and tales from French and Japanese cultures, the piece, an original idea of ​​Leonardo Richard Rodríguez García, director of the company, will be available to the audience on August 8 and 9, at 11:00 in the morning.

Twenty years after its premiere, Cuentos de Palacio has become an academy for the members of the children's company, as the new generations of actors continue to live the experience of working in a different and fun staging.  

Two intertwined stories, with an approximate duration of 50 minutes, offer the opportunity to fantasizing and revealing to the audience in each fraction of the piece, clues for understanding the work.

The lighting, soundtrack, set and costume design, as well as the artistic direction, are in charge of Anyel Corredera Cruz, professor at La Andariega, a company that celebrated its 24th anniversary on March 23.
