Camagüey, Aug 13.- On the occasion of commemorating the 94th anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro today, a political-cultural gala took place in the Plaza de Los Trabajadores in this city.
Yordislán González Ledesma, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) , asserted that as part of the program of activities for the International Youth Day, the best of art in the territory gathered to honor the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, which upon reaching its 94th birthday, continues to be more present than ever.
González Ledesma pointed out that as an act of remembrance of Fidel's imprint in Camagüey, a tour was made through various facilities and centers related to teaching, scientific research, production and services, founded by the Commander in Chief.
The cultural presentation was attended by the soloist Liudmila Pardillo, the declaimer Javier del Toro, as well as the dance group Ecos de Tínima, among other prestigious local artists.
