Bis Music will present an album tribute to Adalberto Álvarez

Havana, Aug 26.- The Artex Bis Music Record House will present this Friday, August 28, the album Son para un sonero. The Concert , as a tribute to Adalberto Álvarez, the Knight of Son, for his 45 years of artistic life.  

The album includes a concert held at the capital's Karl Marx Theater last summer; a making off with interviews with the participating artists and Adalberto himself, and a live phonogram that will be released that day on digital music platforms, according to a press release shared by the Cuban Institute of Music.

Simultaneously, the You Tube channel of this label (BisMusicOficial) will be premiering the show and for the Cuban public, Canal Clave will broadcast it in two parts, at 1:00 and 6:00 in the afternoon respectively. 

The concert includes 17 hits by the Adalberto Álvarez y su Son Orchestra, performed by various guest artists who gather to pay their respects to the Caballero del Son.

Among them are El Septeto Santiaguero, Frank Fernández, Lazarito Valdés, Samuel Formell, Roberto Hernández Robertón, Abdel Rasalps (Lele), Paulo FG, Alexander Abreu, Alain Pérez, Tania Pantoja, Emilio Frías (El Niño), Mandy Cantero, Pancho Amat and José Luis Cortés.

In the same way, the former leading voice of the group will participate: Jorge Luis Rojas (Rojitas) and even the new generations of the family itself: Brayan Álvarez and Kevin Pérez Álvarez in magnificent musical solos. 

During the concert in question, the audience was able to enjoy a tour of the musical course of those who have influenced the styles and searches of so many Cuban artists.

With the Maestro's musical production, the artistic direction of the concert was carried out by Santiago Alfonso and the audiovisual production was led by Mayra María García. 

Adalberto Álvarez is one of the most international musicians in Cuba, who makes the Artex catalog prestigious; one of the most important figures in dance music; Furthermore, his songs have been covered by many artists from the world and Latin America reaching high positions in hit parades and numerous awards. (ACN) (Photo: File)
