Cubanacán branch in Camagüey reorganizes its services

Camagüey, Sep 26.- With several facilities scattered in the historic center of the city, mainly dedicated to accommodation, the Cubanacán Ciudad hotel complex in Camagüey has reorganized its services as a result of the Covid-19.

Now only gastronomic services are offered, only in the Santa María and El Colonial hotels, both of the E brand, always under strict hygienic-sanitary measures, which are initiated by the workers themselves with taking body temperature before entering, washing of hands, the breech step, and the use of gloves and masks.

In addition, safety and hygiene measures are implemented, now supported by the use of new technologies to avoid physical contact and with surfaces, and maintain attention to national customers.

In Santa María, users can find out about the day's offers by scanning the QR code available at each table through their mobile devices, which is added to the information provided on easy-to-view screens in different locations in the lobby bar.

At the moment, no visits from foreign tourists, the main market segment of this complex of the Cubanacán Group, have been received or expected in the current epidemiological situation; however, residents of the city have maintained a favorable influx for the enjoyment of gastronomic services.

Ivis María Bermúdez Chikuy, Public Relations specialist, said that a variety of cocktails and light foods are sold without violating the hygienic standards established jointly by the Ministries of Public Health and Tourism.
