Havana, Sep 26.- Josefina Vidal, ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Canada, announced on her Twitter account that the tour operator Air Canada Vacations will extend its tourist operations to Cuba with an additional flight from Toronto to Cayo Coco starting this Saturday.
The diplomat quoted Lessner Gómez, director of the Cuban Tourism Office in Toronto, in her tweet, who assured that Canadians appreciate the advantage of the Caribbean nation as a safe destination.

According to the official, all major Canadian tour operators have included destinations in Cuba as part of their fall and winter programs.
Since September 4, Air Canada Vacations flights take place once a week from Montreal to Jardines del Rey airport, located on the north coast of the central Cuban provinces.
In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic that hits the world, the facilities that receive travelers were certified with the Most Hygienic and Safe Tourism condition, and are ready to receive foreign travelers.
