Havana, Oct 5.- The Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) company, one of the most prestigious on the island, invited the virtual celebration for Hispanic Heritage Day on October 9.
The online event will promote the exchange of this concept in Latin America and the world, in addition to reflecting the cultural link between Spain and the Caribbean nation through dance.
We will share special moments and stories about the gala honoring Their Majesties the Kings of Spain during their visit to the largest of the Antilles in November 2019, the artistic collective refers in its profile on the social network Facebook.
The honorary function showed the potential of art in the Caribbean country, thanks to the presentation of four great casts: the National Ballet of Cuba, the National Folk Ensemble, LADC and the contemporary dance company Acosta Danza.
The virtual dialogue will be joined by several guests from Alfonso, Unesco Goodwill Ambassador, who has consolidated a style specialized in the fusion of all the dances cultivated in his native land, from the classical to the popular.
The teacher, dancer and choreographer boasts a commendable job at the head of the company, school and cultural company, acclaimed in the United States, Holland, Canada, Egypt, Germany and China.
