Growing the Homeland: a project that defends national identity



Camagüey, Oct 20.- The Cultivando la Patria series is a proposal from the Provincial Council of Performing Arts that began last October 2, to discuss Cuban Culture from digital platforms.

Explains Kenny Ortigas Guerrero, technical-artistic vice president of the Agramontina institution, which are concepts, ideas and opinions of Camagüey artists based on how to preserve the identity values ​​of the nation.

“It is important that the series exists because it constitutes study material for future generations. It serves, in the same way, to learn about the different figures of art in Camagüey and also to understand the artist's relationships with the creative environment,” added Ortigas Guerrero.

Denia Rodríguez León and Adiel Morales Rodríguez, known as the clowns Florecita and Cebollita, Yanixe del Rosario Jiménez, prima ballerina of the Folkloric Ballet of Camagüey and the director of Teatro D 'Luz and Jesús Vidal Rueda Infante, are some of the artists who are part of of audiovisual capsules.
