Cuban and Chilean teams at the opening of University World Chess Championship



Havana, Oct 26.- The teams of Cuba and Chile will collide today on the first day of the Online University Chess World Cup, which arrives as a new competitive option in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Cuba Uno team is made up of the current monarch of the island, Carlos Daniel Albornoz, along with Rachel Palmero, Augusto Campos, Roberto Elías, Abel López and Laritza Alfonso, according to the Jit digital site.
