Camagüey, Oct 30.- The creative use of digital platforms motivated this Thursday the exchange of the participants in the XXX edition of the Audiovisual Show The Image Collection, with the Chilean Vittorio Farfán, filmmaker and columnist for the magazine Séptimo Arte.
The creator answered several questions in an online dialogue moderated by the Camagüey director Alberto Santos, among them, that of describing cinema as a physical phenomenon.
As a video game creator, he highlighted the importance of art direction in any work and encouraged those who enter the audiovisual world to take risks in order to create a personal and captivating aesthetic.
From his experiences as a teacher in a Cinema workshop with adolescents that he teaches in Chile, he related his intentions to achieve naturalness without falling into the teaching of cinematographic specialties, “because telling stories or seeing the development of the manifestation from the beginning is more productive.
"Those generations have the audiovisual as an everyday language, he said, so they are prepared to understand contemporary narratives or use the technological resources available to create."
The projections of the works in competition at the event for young filmmakers sponsored by the Hermanos Saíz Association in Camagüey, plus materials from previous editions, constitute important spaces of the event that gives awards this October 30.
